I like the way you can see the recurring pattern of a pristine design getting gradually tweaked and cluttered until it hits tipping point, then it gets redesigned and the cycle continues.

    @yago, I couldn’t get images for those years off of waybackwhenmachine.

    @jen, it took a lot of reloading and patience. Most the time, the pages come up with graphics missing. If this happens, try loading a different version.

    I am pretty sure it’s just “wayback machine” without the “when” in it, in reference to the time machine in the 1970s cartoon Sherman and Peabody, which was a segment on Bullwinkle.
