It gives you tools to gather, filter and organise ideas. I find it very useful for group work — writing on post-its is a much more effective tool for groups than having (the loudest) people shouting out ideas and opinions.

From what I’ve heard some people rip them off from left to right. But the best technique I’ve developed is simply flip them over so the glue is facing you. This way they will bend and curl towards the wall / surface :)

If working with post-its on a flat (horiz) surface, I will use them in an ‘upside down’ way such that they curl away rather towards you – makes them easier to read ;)
